Yes, the Hotel und Stadtbad Oderberger in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg is the sister hotel of the Villa Bleichröder. The historic boutique hotel has 70 rooms, a 20-metre-long pool with sauna in a listed neo-Renaissance-style swimming hall and a breakfast and fireside cocktail bar.
The villa can be booked exclusively for retreats, team events, workations, family celebrations, friends’ weekends or weddings. The offer is aimed at groups who want to spend a special time-out in a private setting directly on the Baltic Sea.
The Cozy room is located on the second floor of the villa and is approx. 15 m² in size. It is particularly suitable for single travelers and offers a comfortable retreat with a historic ambience directly on the Baltic Sea.

The Seebad Heringsdorf train station is around five to eight minutes’ walk away. The journey from Berlin and Hamburg takes around four hours by Deutsche Bahn and around three and a half hours by Flixbus from Berlin. There is a bus stop directly in front of the villa, and the Kaiserbäder are well connected by the Bäderexpress.
A discount of 15 percent on the room rate is automatically granted for stays of at least four nights. It is not necessary to enter a code separately – the discount is automatically applied when booking online via the website.
The Baltic Sea beach is only a two-minute walk from the villa. The hotel is located in the first row directly on the beach promenade of Heringsdorf. The neighboring seaside resort of Ahlbeck is about a 15-minute walk away.
The Diana Suite extends over two connected rooms on the second floor of the villa. The living room has a desk, TV and a sofa bed, which can be made up if required. The separate bedroom is furnished with a box-spring bed and a second TV. Both rooms have French balconies with a view of the garden.
The villa has 10 double rooms (bed widths 160 to 180 cm, no single beds) and 3 single rooms. Depending on occupancy, up to approx. 23 people can stay overnight. Twin seating (twin beds) is not available.
The basement family room offers space for up to four people, making it the ideal room for families. With an area of approx. 25 m², it is one of the more spacious rooms in the hotel.
Yes, the daily breakfast buffet and use of the indoor pool are included in the price of every room booking. Coffee and tea are also available to guests free of charge throughout the day in the lounge.

A limited number of parking spaces are available directly on the hotel grounds (20 to 25 euros per night). Early reservation is recommended. There are additional parking spaces about six minutes’ walk away for 12 euros per night, with arrivals possible until 6 pm.

The room is located in the basement and receives daylight through a floor-to-ceiling window with a light well in front. It is naturally a little darker than the rooms on the upper floors, but is offered at a lower preferential price.
At approx. 18 m², the Cosy Souterrain is slightly larger than the single rooms on the second floor (approx. 15 m²), but is located in the basement. Due to its location in the basement, it is less bright than the rooms on the upper floors and is therefore offered at an attractive preferential price.
At around 25 m², the Premium rooms are the most spacious standard rooms in the hotel. They have wooden floors, French balconies with arched windows, a desk, a seating area and a shower. Thanks to the generous amount of space, they are particularly suitable for longer stays and workations.

After its construction in 1908, the villa initially served as a family residence. When the National Socialists came to power, the Bleichröder family left Germany. The building was then used as an air force recreation center, later as a sanatorium for the Soviet army and as an FDGB vacation resort. After reunification, the building was renovated in line with its listed status and has been run as a hotel since the late 1990s.

The bronze sculpture in the villa’s garden was created by sculptor Ferdinand Lepcke and has stood there as the property’s landmark since around 1910. Due to the arch, it was often mistakenly identified as Diana, the goddess of hunting – hence the hotel’s name “Hotel Diana” for a time.

All rooms are individually furnished and reflect the historical charm of the Kaiserbäder architecture.
The bathroom in the Diana Suite is one of the highlights of the room: it features a free-standing bathtub and two washbasins. The care products are from an organic and vegan brand. The light-flooded rooms make the suite particularly attractive for longer stays.
The hotel offers three central specials: the exclusive rental of the entire villa for groups (September to May), the long-term special with a 15 percent discount from four nights and gift vouchers for hotel stays at the Baltic Sea.
The breakfast buffet is served daily from 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the historic salon. In fine weather, guests can also have breakfast on the large sun terrace with a view of the countryside.
Check-in is possible from 15:00 (suite from 15:30), check-out is until 10:30. Additional charges may apply for late check-out: 50 percent of the daily rate will be charged until 15:00 and the full daily rate after 15:00.
The neo-baroque villa was built in 1908 as the summer residence of the Jewish Bleichröder banking family. Around 1900, Heringsdorf was a popular summer residence for Berlin’s upper class and was also known as the “Nice of the Baltic”.
In addition to the 11 rooms, there is a large lounge, a sun terrace and breakfast terrace, a spacious garden, an indoor pool with sauna and a leisure room with table tennis. The location directly on the beach promenade also provides quick access to the beach and leisure activities.

The villa is run by the Jaeschke family, who took over the listed building in 2023 and modernized it piece by piece. Dr. Verena Jaeschke is the second generation of the family to run the hotel. The family also runs the GLS Campus in Berlin with a language school, event location and the sister hotel Oderberger in Prenzlauer Berg.
